Inspired by the upcoming 4th of July US holiday

(Vaguely to the tune of “America the Beautiful”)

Amerigo Vespucci,

mapped the new world,

then he said, “Just what

is that place called?

Amerigo, America!

I’ll name it after me!

So every one will know my name

for all eternity!”
